Monday Quickstudies

These are from 2 different workshops. One was a bit looser than the other. (I don't know why I keep typing this stuff, I'm pretty sure you can tell by looking at the pictures...)

I was messing around a little bit more than usual during this workshop. The drawings were kind of hit or miss.

These were done with a Chisel-tipped micron. Normally I hate Microns but these ones are better than the others.

I love it when there's some cloth in the quickstudies. I can't remember if I posted these already. If I did, I'm sorry. I don't know how I'll ever make it up to you.

Hoodies and leftovers

This hoodie kept making cool geometric shapes. It was fun to draw.

These quickstudies are from miscellaneous workshops where the majority of my drawings were terrible.

The lighting was pretty good from my angle so I made it more of an emphasis.

Quickstudies (includes some skeletons)

My friend George asked me to try to draw the model with no skin or muscles or tendons or organs, etc... So basically a skeleton. Had some trouble with the feet but I like skeletons in general... as long as they're dead. Otherwise I wish they'd eat more.

Fabric Quickstudies

Our quickstudies workshops are 1,2 and 3 minute poses. It can be challenging to figure out the pose in that amount of time. When the model busts out some fabric I think it makes some people want to quit.

I was getting down to the last pages of the sketchpad so the board was messing up the tone I was putting down. Protip: bring extra paper to put behind the last pages so that doesn't happen.
